Our library has been founded in order to respond to the shortage of books in German libraries on Turkey, Turkish history, art, culture and politics. Consulate Library has a broad spectrum of interesting books in three languages,Turkish, German and English. Our library’s web page has been realized with close cooperation of Karlsruhe Technical University
Our library offers books to academicians or researchers or students for their studies on Turkey, Turkish migration to Germany, integration, Turkish-German relations, Turkish history, Turkish law, Turkish art, culinary, economy and major political issues.
We also offer classical and contemporary examples of Turkish literature, novels, poems etc. for the young Turkish immigrants who are interested in their origin country.
We are thankful to Mr. Erdogan KÖK, Consul General who initiated this project. We also thank to Mr. Cengizkan Bilgiç who succesfully completed the necessary computer programming. Our special thanks goes to Mr Christoph-Hubert Schütte KA Technical University who made our website accessible through the Karlsruhe city libraries system.
